Valid from JANUARY 2021
1. LESSONS
When enrolling into a class, you agree to accept the following terms and conditions:
a. When a student signs up for the term, it is expected they are committed for the whole of the term.
b. Any student may join the coaching program at any stage throughout the term. Only pay for the remainder of the term is required.
c. The dates for the term are in line with school term dates as set by the Victorian Government. There is no coaching on Public Holidays, as set by the Victorian Government.
d. Your scheduled lesson day will remain for the entirety of the term in question.
e. Once a student is enrolled for the term, their place will automatically be carried over to the next term enrolments.
2. CANCELLATION/ RESCHEDULE
a. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so 24 hours prior by text message or email. Failure to do this will result in forfeiting your lesson. (private lessons only).
b. Your direct coach will contact you via SMS if your lesson is declared a washout, excessive heat or due to coach illness/personal issue.
c. If you wish to change your lesson mid-term, MGT Tennis will endeavour to find another suitable day or time, subject to availability. If none can be found, your paid lessons will be kept as a credit for 12 months.
d. If you wish to cancel your enrolment for the next term, MGT Tennis must be notified at least two weeks before the commencement of the new term.
e. If you wish to re-enrol at any time, you will be treated as a new client with a new lesson day and time assigned, subject to availability. If none is suitable, you will be placed on our waiting list.
f. All payments are required if you cancel mid-term for any reason (unless in the case of serious illness/injury – see below for further details).
3. PAYMENTS
a. All payments must be received within the invoice due date.
b.Term invoices will be sent via email. Please inform of any changes to contact details.
c. If payment has not been received by week 4 of the term, MGT Tennis reserves the right to cancel your lessons and assign them to another client.
4. MAKEUP POLICY
All students are entitled to a makeup lesson under the following circumstances:
a. The lesson is a washout or excessive heat.
b. The court/s (clay) is damaged due to severe flooding or extreme wind.
c. In the case where less than half the lesson was completed and was unable to continue because of a washout, excessive heat or coach illness/injury.
d. In the case where an arranged makeup was cancelled due to a washout, excessive heat or a coach illness/injury.
Please note there are strictly no makeup lessons for the following:
e. All makeup classes are to be arranged with your direct coach.
f. Your make-up class can be completed at any time throughout the school term or during the holidays depending on coach and student availability.
g. If a suitable time is not agreed upon prior to the end of week 4 of the following term, then any lost time will be deemed to be forfeited.
h. A family member or friend may complete this make-up on your behalf if you wish. Please liaise with your coach on this matter.
